Hello students and teachers of Conner Middle School! Do you know the correct definition of recycling? Recycling is when you use things that have already been used to make new things. Recycling is all around you, especially here at Conner Middle. So don't throw away things that can be recycled because you have an easy opportunity to save the Earth one piece of trash at a time. Remember that time your parents got mad at you when something in the house isn't clean? Well multiply that by 100 and that will be our Earth in the next few years if we don't recycle.
We are happy to announce that we have new gray recycling bins! Please be sure you know what to put in the correct bins. Make sure when you are throwing something away, you don’t mix the recycling and the trash cans up. This is very important because if you throw food or gum in the recycling it won’t be able to be reused, and will mess up the environment. Just remember, whatever you put in the trash goes to a landfill and ruins our Earth, so be thoughtful next time you go throw something away.
